15 winners for august!

August has been the most successful month ever for Bethell Racing which is tremendous and a huge credit to our team, our horses, and our owners. With 15 winners for the month and a 28% strike rate to match the results really do, do the talking for the success of the yard. Our horses are in great form not only at the track but also at home, they are fresh and well in themselves and this is showing on the track too as they are showing so much confidence. Not only are they winning but they are also backing up previous wins from this season too which is fantastic to see and this really does show a happy horse who is really thriving.

Two Commanders winning at Musselburgh

Following on from our previous post Two Commanders won very impressively and showed a lot of class at Musselburgh, he is a tall imposing horse who has a lot of scope and is a very exciting for the future. Not to let the boys down Blazing Inferno won at Carlisle on his career debut and showed a lot of speed and maturity in his race, he showed a lot of grit to finish to the line with his opponent, an exciting two-year-old who has a very big future ahead.

To end our month on a high Glitter Code won at Ripon for Nell Biker who had her first ever winner riding as an amateur not only was it her first ever win but it was the horses first ever win too, a fairy tale day for her as her mother owns the horse too!

As a young trainer to have a month like this is a huge credit of the time and extremely hard work that goes into it. Hopefully we can keep building on this success and look forward to a successful autumn with the horses, we will look forward to seeing the soft ground horses out as they have had to sit on the side lines this summer as the weather hasn’t been on their side, hopefully now the weather can be a little kinder to them and we can enjoy seeing them run.
