We Celebrate The 70 Winners Milestone & Counting

Bethell Racing has reached a fantastic milestone of 70 winners and counting, with our recent successes from Edmond Halley, Rogue Constelation, Talismans Time, Oolong Poobong, Alominos & Persian Spirit bringing up the landmark figure and beyond.

Reaching over 70 winners is a significant achievement for the team, reflecting the hard work and dedication of everyone at the yard, alongside the continued support of our owners. Each winner represents a team effort, from the daily care and preparation of the horses at home to the loyalty and commitment from the owners and all connections involved.

Edmond Halley winning two on the bounce

Our latest winners have provided a fitting way to reach the milestone, with Edmond Halley winning two on the bounce with his first win at Southwell and followed this win up with his second win also at Southwell by winning comfortably. Rogue Constelation followed this superb double from Edmond Halley by winning very well at Leister which is a fantastic way to start his racing career to get off the mark on his second start during his two-year-old year. Talismans Time added another win to his name who ran at Catterick, he stayed on well in the soft ground and went very well for our apprentice jockey Cian Horgan which is fantastic for him to ride the yard a winner. Oolong Poobong flew the flag for the girls and won very impressively in the Robin Hood Listed race at Nottingham. She is such a genuine filly and really deserved to have this win by her name, she really tried in the soft ground conditions to deny her opposition and stuck her head out to the line.

This week the horses have continued the fantastic run with Alominos putting his debut run at Newmarket firmly behind him by winning very impressively at Wolverhampton under Billy Loughnane. Our second winner this week who was also ridden by Billy was Persian Spirit who won very nicely at Kempton for My Future Champions.

Alominos winning at Southwell

Huge well done and thank you to all of the owners and connections along with our team and their continued hard work, it really shows and for the team to continue to strive for results and big wins is a credit to our team and the hard work they put in to make sure the horses are in the best condition even this late on in the season. To now be knocking on the door of nearly 80 winners for the season really does show how much it takes as a team to achieve these results.
