August has started with a bang!

The start of August has been a fantastic one for the horses, owners and team! The 1st of August started off with a treble to start the month off in a fantastic manner. Weleyff started the day off by winning his race very comfortably at Doncaster under Oisin Orr, this makes it back-to-back to back wins which is very impressive as a two-year-old and is only improving with his racing. Our second winner of the day was Cabrera who ran a brilliant race for her owners to get back to winning ways. She is a terrific filly who has a lot about her and after a small set back last year is back to how she was previously which is credit to the team. Our third winner of the day was Corolla Point to left our heart in our mouth with his win leaving it to a photo finish but ran brilliantly. He showed what Ed believes he can do and it is a good start to build on this solid foundation. He very much look forward to seeing him run next week during the Ebor meeting at York. Both brilliantly ridden by PJ McDonald who was very complimentary about the horses.

Amber Hamur also backed up her previous run from the yard by winning well at Ripon, she is a bonnie filly who has really thrived from the change of scene by coming to us and we look forward to seeing her progress.

Rogue Citation continued The Rogues Gallery good form by winning at Newmarket which was actually Ed’s first Newmarket July Course winner (hopefully the first of many!).

Welbury showed his ability by winning by seven lengths at Redcar under a good ride as he continues his fantastic form by making it back to back wins and his third win of the season.

Rogue Passion continued the good two-year-old form of the yard by winning on her second attempt and won by several length, she is a filly with a huge character and we are excited to see how she will progress. Not to be outdone by his stable mate, Harley won very convincingly also by several lengths which was tremendous to see, a double of two-year-old winners on the day!

Huge well done to all owners and connections of the horses that have been running so brilliantly, we cannot do it without the support of our owners to entrust Ed and the team to do the best with their horses and it is so incredibly rewarding when it all comes together. All of the horses have been running well, those who have been winning and also those who have been places, the majority of the horses have been in the top few each time out which is a credit to our team. The weather has been testing with the lack of rain around but everyone has been in the same boat and the racecourses have been doing a fantastic job to manage their courses accordingly with watering so the horses have safe ground to race on. Our soft ground horses are back into work and have just stepped up their work with the hope the weather will break soon and they can have a solid campaign throughout the later summer and autumn.
