A Hat-Trick!

 In Uncategorized

Last week the team had a very good week which saw three of the runners win their respective runs! Big Cheese set the week off in fine style by winning at Catterick, it was absolutely fantastic to see him get his head in front on this occasion as he has been close to it on his other starts during the season, well done to his owners who have been patient with him this season. Well done to Connor Beasley who rode Big Cheese on this occasion.

The following day saw Rock of England win again for this owners this season which is absolutely fantastic, and he was beautifully ridden by Danny Tudhope. He ran a fantastic race at Carlisle, Mario who rides him at home and has built a strong bond with him was extremely proud to lead him back into the winner’s enclosure and his smile in the picture says it all!

Havana Rose wasn’t going to be outdone by the boys and followed up the excellent week with a tremendous win at Carlisle under a stylish ride from Callum Rodriguez to win on only her second start. It is fantastic to see her win, especially as Ed sourced her from the sales along with his bloodstock agent, Tom from Blanford Bloodstock, she was also broken in at Thorngill, so for her to win is even more special for all connections, and the team for the hard work to be rewarded!

The yearling sales season has begun and we have already purchased 3 yearlings, Ed is very excited by the 3 that are purchased already and the hopes and dreams for net years 2yo’s have already started. It is a busy time now with the season still in full swing and with the sale season also in full swing. If you are interested in learning more about how to get involved in one of our new yearlings, please do not hesitate to get in contact as they are flying off the shelf! Head over to our horses for sale page to see what we currently have available with more yearlings to come from the up coming sales over the next few weeks!

We have an exciting week ahead with Regional running in the Gr.1 at Haydock on Saturday and also Point Lynas runs at Haydock too, hopefully they can have a successful day.

Our other runners this week are Gressington who runs at Southwell on his debut, Cavalier Approach runs at Carlisle for his second run for the yard, fingers crossed he can run as well as he did do on his first start for the yard and Bury Lane heads to Newcastle on Friday.

Good luck to all connections and the team!
