Three Winners in One Week & Over £1,000,000 in Prize Money Won!

The end of June to the beginning of July has been a very successful one for the team with it having three winners within one week and the three winners all adding towards the first million pound goal in prize money. Our first winner to set off the fantastic trio was Powerful Response, who has really started to come into his own recently. Powerful Response was bought out of the horses in training sale earlier this year, Ed bought him through Blandford Bloodstock who advises and helps Ed on the purchases at the sales from horses in training, to the breeze up horses, and the yearlings. Ed really liked his physique and although he raced as a 2yo with his previous trainer, Ed liked what he showed on the track even though he hadn’t won or been placed previously. Time and patience with him has really paid off. It was a wonderful result for his owners who are new to the yard and we are all absolutely thrilled to have a winner on the board for them. He ran a fantastic race throughout and really dug deep to get to the finishing post first, a hearty performance for him which I’m sure will have given him a lot of confidence for his next run! Well done to Danny Tudhope who piloted him to his first win, it was obviously a lucky day for Danny as Powerful Response was his fourth win of the day at Newcastle!

Our next winner was Lowton, a big handsome, strong 3yo colt who was having his third run and he made it two out of three wins from his starts so far. A fantastic effort from a very relaxed character, he’s such a dude on the yard and is very chilled out! A brilliant performance from Lowton and Callum who rode him to victory at Newcastle.

Indiana Be won very comfortably Hamilton on Tuesday under a strong ride from Callum Rodriguez. It was absolutely brilliant to see Indiana Be get his head in front again this season for his owners who have been very patient with him. He was our 27th winner of the season and he added the very important prize money totalling to over one million pounds in prize money in the UK from the beginning of Ed’s training career, only two and a half years ago. This is a huge achievement for everyone involved, without our fantastic team at home this wouldn’t be possible, and to our very supportive owners who make dreams and goals like this possible, and to all of our horses who have added to this huge achievement! Roll on the next million!

We have a few runners this week which saw two runner yesterday both finish extremely closely and both finished second for the same owners. They both put in fantastic performances and were both extremely close to winning, well done to all involved and hopefully next time it might be two winners for the owners and the team!

This week we have Tiamat at Haydock under the ride of Kevin Stott & Rich Glory at Carlisle under Callum Rodriguez.
