Race meetings cancelled & horses coming back into work

It’s been busy back at Bethell Racing bringing all the horses back in from the fields from their holidays. They’ve had a long period in the field which has been fantastic for their bodies and minds after the season they’ve had. It is so important to for the horses to have a break and then to build them back up slowly for the season ahead, they are now back in their warm stables and out of this freezing weather! The horses that have just come back in have started their walk work and some of the others are onto their trot work which have been in longer.

The yard is looking very smart after having had a facelift with some newly laid tarmac in the courtyard.

Unfortunately, due to the cold weather all the racing has been abandoned which saw three runners of ours not run. Hopefully, if the weather thaws we might be able to have a few more runners before the end of the year, and hopefully another winner or two to add to the tally!

We have a few runners over the next few days our first one is Mossgill who runs at Kempton at 7.45 under the ride of William Buick tomorrow evening (16th). We also have Boucle and Dream Final running on Sunday (18th) at Wolverhampton, Boucle runs at 1.09 in the restricted Novice Stakes over 7f and Dream Final runs also in the 1.09.
