Quandary Wins!
Quandary went back to her winning ways to win very impressively in the Class two race at Lingfield on Friday to take home the good prize money just short of £25,000! A huge well done to her owner breeder who have had a huge amount of success while in training with Ed.
Point Lynas has come out bouncing from his trip to Qatar where he finished a strong second and he is very pleased with himself after his trip to the sunshine. He has had a slightly easier time since his race and is back straining the reins up the gallops!
It has been a quieter time on the racing front, it feels like the calm before the storm with the turf season just around the corner and now less than four weeks to go. The horses are all in good form at home and have stepped up their work with their first starts very soon! Dare I say it but the weather has been far kinder this winter compared to last year which has been far kinder on the horses and riders and this early Spring weather we have been having recently with the glorious sunshine it is a very welcome sight! Let’s hope the good weather is here to stay and winter doesn’t make one last return before Spring stays for good!
With the older horses having stepped up their work with the pending turf season, the two year olds are also in great form, and Ed along with his team have been very pleased with how they have matured over the winter months and look to have an exciting season ahead with them too!
The team doesn’t have any runners this week but we look forward to next week when we see horses from the yard running.
