Knocking on the door
May has swung around very quickly this year. The horses have been knocking on the door consistently. We have had 32 runners and 22 of them have been in the first four. Some would say it has been a very frustrating time of things. The horses are well in themselves and we are hoping that the pendulum might swing our way at some point!! We have a lot of entries this week, starting with Beverley tomorrow.
Noonie has her first run for us and she is a lovely big filly, who I think you will see in time run over 1m4f and possibly further. The stiff 10F at Beverley should suit her.
Reel Rosie has two entries both at Newmarket In fillies handicaps. A decision on which race she will run in, will be made tomorrow.
Eidikos has her first run of the season in the Listed fillies stakes at York on Friday. This filly has really blossomed and I have been extremely happy with how she has been training over the past month and she is just ready to start off. The mile is a slight unknown but I am hopeful she should be able to stay.
It is then a busy weekend, with entries scattered all over the country and decisions on where they run will be made in due course.
The two year olds are really coming along and I am hopeful we should see some of them out in the next two/three weeks.
