Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! We hope you had a lovely time over Christmas & New Year and are looking forward to the year ahead. We had a quieter time over the Christmas period and the older horses kept ticking over while the younger ones enjoyed a quiet time and could process all that they have learnt so far! It is a great time for all of the staff to have a quieter time before the busy year starts too.
We are very much looking forward to hitting the ground running with having runners on the all weather before the turf season starts. The older horses are in great form and are looking well, it is a very exciting year ahead for the whole yard. The young horses will now be brought back into work and will slowly start to get back into their routine, some of them have grown over the Christmas period and these ones will be taken slowly while the smaller sharper ones will come back into their canter work within the next few weeks once they have done a bit of trotting work.
Ed has some very exciting plans and aims for the horses this year which is lots to look forward to and all very exciting!
