Group 2 Winner!
What a weekend it has been for the team and all of our connections! The weekend started with a fantastic performance from Oolong Poobong at Thirsk to win very comfortably, she is such a genuine filly who tries so hard each time and is a real joy to have around, she backs this brilliant result up after her run at York during the Ebor meeting where she finished a very creditable third. Not to be outdone by her stablemate Applesandpears put in a very strong and gutsy performance to show the market had her wrong at 25/1 or maybe she was on the right side of the market if you were having a bet! She won very well at Ascot and is a credit to the team at home who have put the work into this filly to achieve this result.

To top Saturday off Paborus ran an almighty race in the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock to finish a very convincing second. He was travelling extremely strongly and looked like he was the winner until Almerap came upsides and won by several lengths, that was an amazing performance to watch and an extremely talented horse, well done to their team. Paborus might have not won on this occasion but he still beat the rest of his rivals by several lengths including Group 1 winners. This is a huge achievement and credit to our team and he showed what Ed and the team see at home which he has also showed in to the lead up to this race. He is an extremely exciting horse to have on the yard and we very much look forward to seeing him in his next start and for next season. Watch this space.

Rogue Passion flew the flag on Sunday for the team running in France in a Group 2 and really showed everyone how to do it. She is a very gutsy filly with a huge character and this showed in the race, she didn’t have the easiest trip round with the horse in front bumping into her but she did not let this affect her. Rossa Ryan rode her beautifully and showed her class and ability when he pulled her out and let her show her turn of foot. She lengthened and quickened to the finishing line extremely well and had us all shouting her home! What a performance from this two-year-old filly, a Group 2 winner! A huge well done to The Rouges Gallery and Teigan who rides her everyday ta home and travelled with her to France. A huge team effort and we are so excited to see where her next start will be, a very bright future for this filly!
As we are now in the month of September we looking forward to the next couple of months of turf racing before the majority of horses have a very well deserved break, we cant believe how quickly the season is going and we very much look forward to our forthcoming runners.
