Five Runners Today!

The team has had a busy week at Bethell Racing, with the yearlings starting to be broken in on-site as well as other horses having runs. Ed was very pleased with the horses that ran earlier this week, Tiamat ran a brilliant race at Newmarket on Tuesday and showed her class after her first run where she won.

The team has five runners today; two at Doncaster & three at Newcastle later on today. At Doncaster we have Kardia who runs in the 2.20 Maiden Fillie’s Stakes 1m. Ed has really taken his time with her to get her to a racetrack, as she has taken a while to come into herself, we are all looking forward to seeing her run under PJ McDonald. We also have Rich King who runs at 4.38 also at Doncaster under Andrea Atzeni in the Stockbrokers Handicap over 1m 2f.

Later on this afternoon we head to Newcastle where we see three runners all under the ride of Rowan Scott. Elim runs at 5.45 in the restricted Novice Stakes. This is her first run, Ed is very much looking forward to seeing her run, she has been working very impressively at home and we hope she can show the professional attitude that we know she has. Mint Edition runs early evening at 7.15 in the Nursery Handicap over 6f. We are all looking forward to seeing him run after his small break after his last run. Lastly, but by no means least this evening at 7.45 Capital Offence runs in the Nursery Handicap over 6f. He has shown such promise at home, and we hope he can show this, this evening!

Tomorrow we have one extremely exciting runner; Oviedo. He runs in the 1.50 at Newbury in the Horris Hill Stakes, Group 3. He has been in excellent form since his last run in Ireland. He had a fantastic season with Group form, Ed thinks very highly of him (not that he has any favourites)!
