Coverdale Makes it 4 Wins On The Bounce & Lerwick WINS!

What. A. Horse Coverdale is! Coverdale added another win to his tally to make it four in a row after his phenomenal performance at Ripon on Monday the 10th to win under a strong ride from Callum to secure the win for his owners, our in house syndicate; Clarendon Thoroughbred Racing. It is so special to not only have a four time winner on the bounce, (this is Ed’s first since he started his training career two and a half years ago) but also with this being for our syndicate which Ed’s parents set up when Ed’s father James was training. A huge achievement for Coverdale, Ed, the owners, and the whole team! He looked absolutely magnificent in the paddock and really did steal your eye away from any of the others with his presence and physique, a huge credit to our whole team, and to Claire who looks after him and fuels him with carrots and mints!

Lerwick ran at Pontefract yesterday (11th) under a fantastic ride from Callum, there was never any doubt during his race that he was going to give the win away to anyone else, he made a very convincing win by winning by four lengths. It was absolutely brilliant to see him get his head in front and to perform how he did as his owners have been very patient with him after the promise he showed last year, hopefully, this will give Lerwick the confidence for his next start.

This week we have Indiana Be running at York on Friday & also Regional running at York on Saturday, fingers crossed the ground plays in our favour,  and good luck to all of the connections of these horses!
