A quiet week…
We had a few runners over the weekend and a quiet start to this week with a few entries from Friday onwards.
Coverdale made his debut at Haydock Park on Friday evening for Clarendon Thoroughbred Racing. He is a lovely 2yr old colt by Expert Eye. He was unlucky not to get a clear run, Kevin Stott was very sympathetic on him after traveling very well he was unlucky to get caught in a pocket, but it was good to see when he got daylight he ran on well. He will improve for the run.
Yorkshire made his debut on Sunday at Haydock Park for Clarendon Thoroughbred Racing. He is a lovely big horse by Harry Angel. He was third in a very competitive newcomers maiden with a lot of smart individuals he was very relaxed and took it all in his stride and ran a very pleasing race. One for the future.
Rick King ran on Sunday at Haydock Park in a competitive handicap he got caught in a pocket and was unlucky to not get a clear run had we not got stuck I don’t think we would have beaten the winner but he would have been second.
