A busy weekend follows through to a busy Monday
Another busy weekend for the team here at Bethell Racing as the turf season starts to draw to a close. Although we didn’t have any winners on Friday, Ed was exceedingly pleased with how the horses performed in each of their races. Elim was the star of the day performing exceptionally well at Newcastle on her debut; resulting in a photo finish. Rich King ran a great race at Doncaster in the heavy going after the biblical rain that came, to finish a close fourth. We all saw a huge improvement in Mint Edition after his short break, he made up a lot of ground to finish a respectable third at Newcastle.
Today Bethell Racing has two runners; Scott’s Moon & Fermanagh. Scott’s Moon runs in the 1.30 at Redcar in the Novice Stakes 6f under the ride of PJ McDonald. We are all looking forward to seeing him run today after his fantastic debut run at Haydock. Fermanagh runs in 1.50 in the Fillie’s Restricted Novice Stakes 6f at Leicester, under the ride of Hector Crouch.
Tomorrow we have one runner at Catterick; Oh So Chic runs at 3.55 2m under Kevin Stott.
On Wednesday Big Cheese runs at Nottingham over 1m 6f in the Novice Stakes also under Kevin Stott.
We are all looking forward to seeing these horses run and wish the best of luck to all owners, connections, and our team.
