Snow Stops Play & Runners This Week
After the snow came in thick and fast on Friday it was all hands on deck to move snow so we could get the horses out of their stables. The snow stopped play on Friday but the team managed to get the horses exercised over the weekend., luckily the snow melted as quickly as it came. Hopefully, now we can look forward to Spring and start to enjoy some warmer weather!
The horses are really starting to look exceptionally well in their coats. They are training very well and are soon ready to go racing.
We have a few runners this week. Elim runs tomorrow (14th) at Newcastle at 6.45 under the ride of Andrea Atzeni. Yorkshire and Point Lynas have been entered but have not been declared yet. If they do run, Yorkshire runs on Thursday the 16th at Southwell at 6.40. Point Lynas runs on Friday 17th at Newcastle at 6.45.
These three horses have come back from their winter breaks and are having their first run back for their 2023 campaign. It is so exciting to see the hard work that has gone in throughout the winter and to have the horses ready to run.
Great ready for the next update as we will be hearing from Ed and his thoughts about how the winter has been and talking about the start of the season.
