A Fantastic Morning For Our Clarendon Open Morning
We had a successful morning on Thursday at out Clarendon Open morning for our shareholders within our Syndicate. He had a great turnout of shareholders and the weather was glorious to set the scene for a wonderful morning ahead. We had delicious nibbles accompanied by tea, coffee, and some bubbles too!
Our morning started with refreshments upon arrival which was then followed by a parade of all of the Clarendon horses; this was great to do as members of Clarendon who aren’t involved in certain horses within the syndicate can find out a bit more about the Clarendon horses if they wish to follow them when they are racing. A brochure was handed out with a Newsletter about Clarendon with a write-up about each horse’s pedigree, their character, and their aims for the season. We did this so our members could read about them once they had left the yard and to have a bit more background information.
We had a parade of the horses and Ed discussed each horse in great depth, this was very interesting to listen to as not only were you finding more out about your horse that you have a share in but also the other member’s horses. The parade was followed by watching all of the Clarendon horses train on the gallops. Once we had seen the horses exercising we then all came back down to the yard to have a yard tour to see the new barn and the horses in their stables after exercising.
It was a great morning for our newer members to meet other shareholders within the syndicate. It was fantastic to hear how much everyone enjoyed it and we are very much looking forward to our next morning in July.
Thewind Cries Mary ran extremely well at Leicester on Saturday evening on her debut run. She was very green but showed so much class and genuineness and we are really looking forward to what the season may hold for her.
We are very much looking forward to the York Dante meeting this week where we have a few runners. We also have others running at various tracks which are:
Vitrina runs at Catterick today (13th May) under Connor Beasley. Copphull Hall Lane runs at Ayr under Callum Rodriguez. Chillingham & Skye Breeze at York on Wednesday the 15th. There are other entries later in the week at Hamilton, Doncaster, Newmarket, Thirsk & Ripon.
As the rain and sunshine will decide where horses will run due to the varied ground conditions we will very much look forward to see the horses run and wish the owners, team and all connections the best of luck.
