Wensley Wins!

 In News

Yesterday Wensley ran at Pontefract to win impressively on only his third start, under Danny Tudhope. He ran very green on his first two starts but everything seems to have clicked for him yesterday as he led the entire way, we hope he will continue improving and be a nice colt for us. Jessinamillion was third at Doncaster on the 27th, only beaten by a length.

This week we have Belle de Lawers running at Ayr today (Monday), then Truth or Dare on Wednesday at Goodwood. Portledge runs at Redcar on Wednesday, his first run of the year. On Saturday we have Firby and Quiet Weekend entered at Doncaster, Firby ran very well first time out and we hope he will improve again like the other two year olds we have had run so far. On Sunday we have Ulshaw Bridge and Cray at Chester- Ulshaw Bridge ran brilliantly to win last time at York and we hope to have a repeat of that.

He was named Wensley after a local village- all our syndicate horses are named after villages.
