This week, we seem to have a quieter week on the runners front with Briardale and Edgewood both being declared to run on Wednesday at Redcar.
Edgewood will run in the 3.25pm Maiden stakes, and Graham Lee will ride. This is a colt that we like a lot and he ran a very encouraging debut at Leicester, although he has been off the track for 46 days, there has been nothing wrong with him we just wanted to let him grow and strengthen and that is exactly what he has done. We are really looking forward to getting him back on track and hopefully he will show us what we think he is capable of.
Briardale runs in the 5.30pm he has been on something of a retrieval mission this year and there have been glimmers of hope the last twice! Briardale ran with an enormous amount of credit last time only to be beaten by the heavy ground and the distance being too far on that sort of ground. Paul Hanagan takes the ride again at Redcar and we are looking forward to him running, the race looks mightily competitive but hopefully he will recapture some of last years form.
