Thorngill has done remarkably well in the recent few days where the weather has been a highlight of the news channels. The cold temperatures reaching -7C yesterday here didn’t put a halt to any happenings on the yard, with only the odd water bucket needing defrosting and snow has only just stared to fall here today but doesn’t look to be settling
Recent additions to our facilities have proven exceptional in this weather. “The Path” that was put in at the end of last summer is still providing perfect footing up to the moor, an alternative to walking through a slightly icey Tupgill Park. Also the new all-weather 7f gallops is truly all-weather allowing training to stay consistent for our horses.
Its all business as usual here at Bethell Racing and fingers crossed the rest of winter runs as smoothly with our strong team of horses and staff.
