Having worked in racing in the late 80’s/early 90’s (for Paul Howling and Thomas Tate), George left to take an architectural degree. He then worked in that sector for 25 years before returning to racing with James Bethell, as he always enjoyed working with horses. This led to Jessinamillion becoming his favourite horse as Jess was the first horse George was looking after once he got back into racing. He hopes one day to combine working with horses in the racing sector with his architectural work.
George has been quite the traveller (apparently too many countries to count), having been to many Saharan countries, saying the most interesting one to be Chad. Alongside this he loves old antique travel books.
