This week we have a busy week on the runner’s front. It started off with Tie a Yellowribbon running a very creditable race at Redcar yesterday, it was her first time in a handicap and she showed a huge amount of natural speed bursting from the gates and she just looked as if she got tired late on in the race, the next step I believe would be to drop her back to 6 Furlongs and see how we get on with her but I certainly feel she is a winner waiting to happen.
Tomorrow we send out two runners Truth or Dare goes to Ayr in the second race, the ground should be suitable for him and the race looks the right spot, however I would imagine that it could be touch and go as to whether Ayr will definitely race tomorrow, due to the weather that they may encounter over the next twenty four hours.
Also tomorrow we send Cray to the final of the stayers championship at Pontefract, he seems in great form at home and a repeat of his course and distance success should put him right there with a great shout, however he would not want it very soft at all, so a decision will be made on his participation in the morning.
Friday we send out three possible runners, Cale Lane has been declared at Ayr to run in the Listed Fillies stakes; however the ground would not be totally ideal for her, as she is a slight filly who has loved top of the ground this year.
Friday evening sees her go to Newcastle with a couple of runners. Starting with Airton in the two mile handicap, he is in good form at home and we have been happy with his preparation since his last run and I am looking forward to getting him back on the All-weather.
Our second runner on Friday evening is Well Funded, she is making her debut in the maiden Auction stakes over a mile, this filly has shown up nicely in her homework and we are looking forward to introducing her to the track, she will be in need of the experience like all of ours but we are looking forward to getting her on to the track and we would be hopeful that she can run a nice race.
Saturday sees New Society go back to Catterick for the series final of the race he won at the start of the year, he looks fantastic and has come out of his race at Chester really well and we are happy with his training, we are hopeful that he will put in another good performance.
We are one of the few trainers who was able to buy a horse for under £50,000 and win the £25,000 Book 1 Bonus this year, so If you are keen to get involved please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and hopefully we will be able to find you the next one!
