Lots of entries

We have a lot of horses entered for the end of this week, starting with Conistone and Mister Bob tomorrow at Kempton- both horses will be ridden by Ted Durcan, and hopefully Mister Bob can continue his unbeaten record for Kempton this year, having won both of his races there so far in 2016!  Then on Thursday, SS Vega is entered to run at Hamilton, she is going very well at the moment so we are sure she will improve on her previous runs. On Friday we have Portledge entered to run in the £60,000 maiden at the York Ebor festival- he ran very well first time out, so we are all looking forward to this! Coverham and Rich Again are entered at Chelmsford on Sunday, and on Monday we have Fruit Salad, who ran very well on Friday, and then Miss Montes’ debut at Thirsk, she seems really well and happy at the moment, and is definitely ready for her first run.

Last week, Lady Canford ran very well to finish third, she was ridden by Joshephine Gordon who she seemed to get on really well with. Fruit Salad was only just beaten into second at Newcastle, and Airton ran very well for another third. Briardale also ran well at Newmarket, and Haworth had his first run, he will definitely improve from that. The weather here is lovely, a few of the horses are getting turned out in the pens, and they’re all enjoying the sunshine!

What a positive update from the stable. Its always good to hear some good news in an era of some uncompromising stories. Clearly horses like humans thrive on sunshine as did the happy crowds when i visited Thirsk and Ripon today. Even had to queue for an ice cream. It must be summer !!!! Saw a horse called Cote de Sur that looked special
