Happy Christmas and a Very Happy New Year
Firstly, I am extremely sorry for the lack of updates on the website, we have been extremely busy building up to Christmas and bringing in all the horses from the fields. Furthermore to the lack of updates our website is being revamped as I am writing.
Although, you probably don’t mind about the re-vamping and you are more interested in hearing on how the horses are going and looking. We couldn’t be happier with them. We looked around the horses last night and they looked fantastic especially the ones who have recently returned from the field, they certainly fill the eye and have given us plenty to work on. It could be an extremely exciting year next year, we are up on numbers this year and I certainly believe the quality is also on the upgrade.
We haven’t run many horses at all in the past few weeks, this is due to the fact that many of our horses are on holidays at the moment and there is meant to be an increase in prize money from the start of 2018 we will certainly be trying to win as much of it as we can.
Our yearlings are really progressing very nicely they are doing two three furlong canters every day and I couldn’t be happier with the way they are progressing. They are all about to have a couple of weeks holiday, to allow them to grow and strengthen up. We are virtually sold out with very few shares remaining, If you would be interested in buying a share in one of the two yearlings, left for sale please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
During the Christmas period we will have three runners, Strawberryandcream, Thankyouverymuch and Penistone. I am very happy with all of them and they all look fantastic in their coats, so hopefully they will all give a good account of themselves.
The new barn is nearly finished and we look forward to welcoming some of the new horses in January.
I would like to take this opportunity, to thank our team of staff for all their hard work and devotion this year. In addition, I would also like to thank all the owners who have supported us this year. It has been a wonderful year and hopefully next year we can make it even better.
